April 2019: Rock Solid Fitness Strength Training Study

In April of 2019, Rock Solid Fitness will be conducting a strength training study, using non-members, to determine and quantify objective and subjective responses to a 4-week high intensity strength training program to a specific sample group.  Participants will be trained by a Fitness Coach Consultant at Rock Solid Fitness free of charge for the duration of the study.

Rock Solid Study Criteria

To be qualified for the Rock Solid Study, you must meet the following criteria*:

 You work or live within 7 miles of Rock Solid Fitness (includes Oldsmar, Palm Harbor, Dunedin, Clearwater, Clearwater Beach, Ozona, Safety Harbor, Belleair)

 You are 40-55 years old

 You have a household income of $150,000 or more per year

 You are busy white collar professional, or married to one

 You have not lifted weights regularly for the past year

 You will consent to having the results of the study being shared by Rock Solid Fitness

 You can commit to 2 half-hour appointments per week for 5 weeks (1 week of data collection and familiarization & 4 weeks of strength training)

To be qualified for the Rock Solid Study, you must also meet at least ten of the following criteria:

 You have a sedentary job

 You are looking to get back into shape

 You can’t seem to find time to exercise, but want to

 You have low energy

 You are over-stressed

 You need accountability

 You are hard worker

 You have aches, pains, or stiffness that didn’t use to be there

 You have a competitive drive

 You have injuries that are preventing you from starting your own exercise program

 You eat out often due to lack of time to cook

 You were athletic in past and looking to get back into form

 You desire a high quality professional service

 You need an exercise routine that promotes convenience

 You want to improve self esteem

 You enjoy a positive environment

 You don’t like the typical gym environment

 You crave personalized health programming and attention

 You have a goal of building a better future self

 You need improved strength for daily activities and hobbies

 You need to train for sporting activities such as hiking or marathon races
